Adam has served two terms on the Burlington City Council from 2015 to 2020. During his time in elected office, he helped lead efforts on housing creation, public safety reform, infrastructure investment, and numerous critical community initiatives. As a Councilor, Adam also led two delegations to Yaroslavl, Russia as part of the Burlington-Yaroslavl Sister City Program, which included the US Ambassador to Russia’s office. Adam has been a speaker at several national and international conferences discussing institutional partnerships and innovative economic development strategies. The University of Vermont awarded Adam with the 2021 Outstanding Young Alumni Award in recognition of his professional and service accomplishments.
